Payouts aren't sales
The most common e-commerce bookkeeping mistake is recording the payout from Shopify or Amazon as your sales. A payout is sales minus fees, refunds, chargebacks and reserves — so if that's what hits your books, your revenue is understated, your fees are invisible, and your margins are wrong.
We reconcile each channel properly: gross sales, fees, refunds and payouts recorded separately so they tie to the bank. Inventory and cost of goods are tracked so your gross margin is real, and sales tax is tracked for every state where you've collected.
Because this work happens entirely in QuickBooks Online and your sales platforms, we work with online sellers anywhere in the country, not just in North Texas.
